Marathon Golf Day
FUNDS RAISED EXCEEDED $50,000
On Friday the 6th February 2015 Ollie Smith successfully completed the Marathon Golf Day Challenge.
The Challenge was to play four rounds (72 holes) of golf "back to back" in one day at Pymble Golf Course to raise awareness and funds for both Cure My Brain and Lord’s Taverners NSW.
In the evening, following on from Ollie's completion of the Marathon Golf Day, a Benefit Dinner hosted by Pymble Golf Club in their beautiful function room continued the fundraising for both causes.
The Dinner commenced at 6.45pm on the terrace with champagne and canapés whilst watching Ollie complete the 72nd hole. At approximately 7:30pm the Dinner got into full swing with live musical entertainment, games, raffles, auctions and a lavish 3 course meal with wines supplied by the world renowned Torbreck Winery.
Michael Crossland (http://michaelcrossland.com) was our guest speaker for the evening and performed an absolutely inspirational speech.
The whole event was a huge success. Funds raised exceeded $50,000.

We would like to give a big thanks to Torbreck Winery, of the Barossa Valley, for generously donating all the premium wines for the Benefit Dinner.
